Head Coach Jake Bramlett
2023 Region 4, 7a Coach of the Year
Greyhound Head Coach Jake Bramlett has served OSHS as Offensive Coordinator and Quarterback Coach. Under his leadership, the Greyhounds have produced a two-time 6A Mr. Football at quarterback; seen two back-to-back undefeated seasons; been crowned the Region 4 6A champions for 2021 and 2022; and gone to the South State Finals. The Greyhound offense has averaged 43 points per game and been ranked top 5 in the state for the last three seasons.
Now entering his tenth year in coaching, Coach Bramlett has coached as Offensive Coordinator and Strength & Conditioning Coordinator at both Pass Christian High School and Newton County High School, at Madison Central High School as Strength & Conditioning Coordinator, Clinton High School as Wide Receivers and Co-Offensive Coordinator, and at Petal High School as Wide Receivers Coach. Coach Bramlett attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello on an athletic scholarship and earned a bachelors degree from Mississippi State University.
Coach Bramlett believes in coaching the whole athlete top to bottom of a roster. Everyone needs to be on the same page. He wants to instill leadership in all of his athletes along with the athletic skills to succeed. Coach Bramlett’s motto speaks volumes to the coach he is! #ALLiN
