Ocean Springs, Miss. - Ocean Springs junior quarterback Bray Hubbard did it all for the Greyhounds, leading the way for a 45-21 victory over previously undefeated Hancock High School.

Hubbard ran for a pair of touchdowns and passed for another as the fourth-ranked Greyhounds improved to 4-0 overall in the Region 4-6A opener for both teams.

Hubbard completed 19 of 22 passes for 149 yards, including a 24-yard scoring pass to Holton White, and ran 19 times for 133 yards and touchdown runs of 4 yards and 45 yards.

“Bray’s game is next level,” Ocean Springs coach Blake Pennock told ScoreBook Live. “He really understands what we’re trying to do offensively. He really executed the passing game tonight.”

Ocean Springs jumped out to a 28-0 lead in the first half and coasted the rest of the way. Junior tailback David Humphries added 116 yards rushing on 16 carries and scored two touchdowns, as the Greyhounds ran for 306 yards.

Cameron Miller led Hancock (3-1 overall) with 49 yards rushing on 12 carries.

Ocean Springs will travel to D’Iberville next week in a showdown to ranked undefeated teams. Hancock will host St. Martin next week.
