Hubbard completed 17 of 18 passes for 156 yards and two touchdowns, ran 26 times for 118 yards and one TD, and led Ocean Springs to a 31-13 victory over Clinton in the season opener for both teams at Arrow Field in Clinton.

The Greyhounds looked like a team on a mission in their 2022 season opener.

Ocean Springs isn’t rebuilding around starting quarterback Bray Hubbard — the team is simply reloading. Following an undefeated regular season and a trip to the second round of the playoffs, the Greyhounds graduated star running back David Humphries and multiple key targets in Holton White and Evan McNally.
