Jake Bramlett isn’t so interested in a rebuild at Ocean Springs.

The newly minted head coach has the reigns to the Greyhounds program after serving as offensive coordinator the last three seasons and has no plans to slow the momentum built in recent years.

A press conference was held today to officially introduce Jake Bramlett as the Ocean Springs head football coach.

Ocean Springs High has found its newest head football coach and didn’t have to go far to get him.

JP Coulter quickly left his mark on the game, scoring on a 39-yard, sideline-dancing touchdown early in the first quarter to give the Greyhounds an early lead. Less than three minutes later, Coulter was in the end zone again. This time it was a 21-yard strike that put OSHS up two scores.

Hubbard completed 17 of 18 passes for 156 yards and two touchdowns, ran 26 times for 118 yards and one TD, and led Ocean Springs to a 31-13 victory over Clinton in the season opener for both teams at Arrow Field in Clinton.

The Greyhounds looked like a team on a mission in their 2022 season opener.
